Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a diagnostic procedure that uses a combination of large magnet, radiofrequencies and computer in order to produce detailed image of organs and structures within the body, avoiding the risk commonly associated with X-rays. MRI is often used to examine the brain, neck, chest, abdomen, spines and extremities and other soft tissues of the body.

Siemens Somatom Go Now
The Siemens Somatom Go.Now is a 16/32 multislice CT scan machine capable of doing most of what high end scanners can do. Its artificial intelligence (AI) software and innovative hardware makes it a class of its own. We offer the following services: Chest and Abdomimal Angiograms, Triphasic studies, Virtual Bronchograms, Virtual Colonoscopy and various MPR and 3D reconstructions of any part of the body. Our Low Dose Chest CT scan protocol with computer aided diagnosis (CAD) is capable of lowering the patient’s exposure to radiation.
Afterwards its algorithm automatically determines and indicates if a certain part in the patient’s lung is a pulmonary nodule. The result is shown in less than a minute. This CT scan based chest screening is ideal for patients with history of smoking or with suspected chest lesions. CT Guided Biopsy done in the Somatom Go.Now is fast, accurate and safe for our patients. That is why the Department of Radiology acquired the Siemens Magnetom Amira 1.5 Tesla MRI machine to help the patient better understand his or her condition while at the same time assist the attending physician in giving the right treatment for the patient. Based on the very latest Siemens MRI technology, this scanner delivers an exceptional image quality and speed of doing studies thanks to its highly intuitive artificial intelligence (AI) driven programs. We have the most complete line of dedicated MRI coils and MRI compatible accessories which means we can deliver a broader range of MRI services all for the benefit of our patients.
We offer the following services: Routine MRI, MR Angiography, Dynamic studies and Spectroscopy of the brain, orbits, neck, chest, breast, liver and prostate. Also included are examinations that involve neurologic, orthopedic, musculo-skeletal, abdominal and cardiac cases.
The Philips MX16 Multidetector CT scan machine is considered to be the workhorse of the Department. With its outstanding clinical performance, high productivity and reliability; it has proven itself to be the CT scan for general use. Because of its fast scanning time and a full featured workstation, this CT scan machine can do routine and virtual studies as well as angiographic and triphasic studies. Routine procedures done in the PMX16 is fast and efficient while producing exceptional high quality images.
LOW DOSE COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY (LDCT) WITH CAD
This system are used to evaluate the performance of a computer-aided detection (CAD) system for pulmonary nodule detection using low-dose screening CT Images. With the use of this protocol, patient will receive less radiation dose that will not affect any image quality for the radiologist to review. In this study, the combined review of low-dose CT scans by both the radiologist and CAD was necessary to identify all nodules. With the help of Siemens Syngo.via for post processing the dataset that have been acquired screening and detection for patient with lung diseases can be diagnose and treat early and précised.
