billingThe Billing Division is tasked with the preparation/consolidation of patient's individual statement of account after all procedures, medicines, supplies and other support services have been billed accordingly. These patient account include those which are Company-Sponsored, enrollees and dependent of Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO), Insurance Companies, research and related corporate or institutional clients.

Billing Division is also sees to it that mandated social legislation like coverages from the Philippine Health Insurance (Philhealth), discounts for Senior Citizens, Person with Disability (PWD) and similar socialized benefits are applied in accordance with their respective implementing rules and regulations (IRR).

Billing of other revenues for the use of hospital facilities and services is also part of the functions of division.

      • Operating Hours-8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday to Sunday

      • Estimates Bill are available to the patient upon request

      • Existing rules and regulations on patients admission and discharges as well as
           application of discounts and benefits, shall apply accordingly on all
           hospital patients.

      • Members of an accredited company, HMO's, Insurance shall be treated as the
           usual “walk-in” patients until the submission of all required documents
           within 72 hours.

Processing of Philhealth, Senior Citizen/ Person with Disability (PWD) benefit

philhealth1. Philhealth members who wish to avail of the benefit
    must accomplish and present the fully accomplished
    PHIC form 1, 2 and 3 together with other required

2. Requirements must be submitted on or before the date
    of discharge to avail of outright deductions.

3. Copy of Senior Citizen/PWD ID should be submitted or
    other pertinent document can be presented in
    availing of the discount.

Billing of In-Patients

Cut-off time for billing of hospital discharges are as follows:

        • Tagging of patients as “may go home” before 5:00pm, patient can be
             discharged within the day
        • Tagging of patients as “may go home” after 5:00pm, maybe discharged
             provided they will pay the full amount without the necessary deductions
             (PHIC, Senior Citizen, PWD, Government Employee)

Room Charges will be computed as follows:

   Between 12:01am to 6am   charged as whole day 
   Between  6:01am to 12:00 noon   charged as ¾ day 
   Between 12:01 to 6:00pm  charged as ½ day
   Between 6:01pm to 12:00midnight   charged as ¼ day
   Between 12:01am to 12:00noon   charged as ½ day 
   Between 12:01pm to 12:00midnight    charged as whole day

Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), Company Sponsored

1. Patients who do not have membership card or letter of Authority (LOA)
    presented upon admission but claims to be a member of an accredited
    HMO or Company Sponsored beneficiary, shall be considered
    ordinary patients temporarily until submission of the required documents.

2. Admitted patients who cannot present membership card nor submit the
    member/beneficiary of HMO or Company Sponsored card and LOA,
    shall be considered in the system provided the required documents are
    submitted and presented to Billing Division within 72 hours following
    submission. Billing shall encode such in the system once
    aforementioned documents has been presented and submitted.
